What happened to this bird?

Sometimes you see something that you can’t easily explain.

In this case a ruptured air sac in the body resulted in the air moving to other places under the skin.

You can separate the bird, carefully puncture the skin with a needle and push the air out. If the bird is developing well – there is nothing wrong with keeping it in the flock till slaughter. If it is weak and retarded – cull it.
