Why is there more spillage from the left drinker?

There is still a floating ball in the left drinker and not in the drinker on the right.

Remove the balls from the cups when the poults get older (7-10 days). If you leave the balls in too long your poults will start spilling water and throwing the balls out of the cups. But don’t take them out too early: the poults will fail to push the pendulum and dehydration mortalities will skyrocket.

Don’t remove all the balls at the same time, but gradually, so the poults can get used to the changing situation.
